For a more affordable and yet powerful solution, Cub Cadet has the ZTT 42 at a lower $2,699. The ZTT 42 has an 18 HP Kohler engine and a wide 42" cutting deck as well as zero turn capability. The mower features a large 2.8 gal rust proof tank and can travel at up to 6 MPH. The mower also features a range of safety features including neutral start, operator presence, brake pedal lock, and the newer reverse safety switch that is becoming popular.
