I use it every week and am very pleased. A little tough to attach the handle to the unit but now it's fine.

One part of the instructions for assembling the handle was misleading and/or incorrect so I just ignored it and proceded to a logical conclusion. Managing the electric cord is just a learning experience and well worth the time in exchange for the ease of cutting grass compared to my push mower. Depending on height setting for the blade, which is quite easy to set, the motor will bog down if one lets the grass get two to three inches taller than a weekly cutting might suggest. All things considered, it is a great little machine for the price.

Prior to purchasing the B&D LM175 mower, I had a gas-powered B&D (for 3 and a half years). I've had issues with excessive smoke fuming, failure to start, and oil leakage when using the gas-powered mower. If I were adept at lawnmower mechanics, I might have been able to fix those problems, but I'm not. The electric mower seems so much easier to use from the get-go:

- Just plug in and pull in the handle and you're mowing.

- Like the other reviews mention, the mower is so quiet when running, that you could mow the lawn in the evening time without causing any disturbances.

- You could actually steer the mower with one hand and maneuver the power cord with the other hand without difficulty.

- The blade height adjusts much more easily and succinctly than the gas-powered mower (one lever controls height in relation to both wheels).

- The mower is light-weight and stores away easily.

Would highly recommend this product. Can't imagine using anything else to mow my lawn.

I purchased this mower to replace a gas craftsman mower. I am a young 64 y/o woman. I was able to assemble with no problems. It uses an electric cord. I am use to using a cord with my weed eater and blower; so no problem in using with my mower!

Easy to use. Beautiful even cut. I will be giving up my gas mower. I fore see me and elctric being together for the next several years.

Seriously, I recently purchased my first home with a kind of small front, side, and back lawn and I'm very happy with this mower. It was as easy as vacuuming! No kidding!

I purchased this mower because I really don't want the hassle of gas powered tools, the smell, the noise. The price was reasonable as well. My lawn isn't one nice big rectangle either. I have trees and other landscaping features to mow around. It was easy to maneuver and didn't get caught on anything.

Although the cord is not the most fun to deal with, I was able to push the mower with one hand and guide the cord with the other. It really wasn't bothersome at all.

Another great feature is the SO EASY on and off lever. It doubles as a good safety feature as well. If your hand isn't on the mower lever, it turns off. And to turn it on, there's no pull cord or anything like that. You just easily pull a lever!

The height adjustment is also a one hand lever that moves with ease. And it turns around easily as well.
I highly recommend this mower!
