This mower is easy to set up and use. Changing the cutting height is done with a single lever, and is easy to do. The battery indicator lets you know when to recharge. Single charges have lasted longer than I thought they would. The mower is a bit on the heavy side due to the battery, and therefore may be a bit more cumbersome to maneuver on a heavily sloped lawn. This product makes grass cutting cleaner and quieter than gas machines. I do not miss dealing with gas, pull-starts, air filters, and all of the exhaust associated with gas mowers. The only thing left to improve upon is to lower the price and lighten the battery. Great product.

What a fantastic mower!! How nice that it came a day early with enough juice to do both my front and back yards (75x135 lot). I can mow my grass at 8am in my new neighborhood without my new neighbors hating me since it's so much quieter than a gas mower.

My only gripe is that I wish the handle was wrapped in something other than foam that tears easily. All in all, a great mower, I definitely recommend it!

I bought this since the Black and Decker CMM1000 I own will not hold a large enough charge to completely mow my yard. This mower will run about as long as the B&D on a charge.

Plus - Steel deck instead of plastic. Easy to assemble. Multiple discharge options.

Minus - Battery status indicator lights are not bright enough to see in bright sunlight - unable to monitor charge status. Safety lever is only on one side. You must always hold on with your right hand to keep it running.

All in all, I find it comparable with the B&D mower I own. I prefer the B&W since it has a battery status meter and the safety power bar goes across the width of the handle.

After reading lots of reviews here at amazon, I purchased this one.
reviews were invaluable. Instructions were great/necessary also.
I started of with it set too low. but when I raised it up a little worked great.. can't plug the charger in wrong as suggested by another reviewer.
did my whole yard 40x80 sloping and still had power to spare. Had to watch for the rear,rubber,guard as suggested by somone. The flap holds the side shoot on. So the flap does not come off..Will add a little brass chain to hold the rubber guard out back so it does not get cut up.
I am really happy with my lawn mower.

I cannot believe how easy it is to use this lawnmower. I live in the city and have a very small yard and it only takes about 1/2 hour to do the front and back. The fact that this lawnmower does not have a pull starter is what attracted me to it in the first place and I have to say that the easy start mechanism on the handle is the best. If you want to stop during the cut you simply release it and then put it back in place again when you're ready to start. No oil, no gas, no electric cord to hassle with, just a simple cordless electric mower.
