I bought one of these from home depot back in 2006. I've been using it on an average of 7 lawns per week and it has held up great! I've replaced the engine control cable and the drive cable once but that's not bad considering how much use this thing has gotten. It mulches great and I can bag tall grass without the opening clogging. It gives a great cut which my customers have commented on many times. A+ Lawnboy!

The Lawn Boy Insight 10685 is a great value. It starts really easy and the Sens-a-Speed propulsion system makes it feel like the mower is gliding easily in front of me as I walk. I can get the lawn mowed quick. The grass bagger is easily removed and replaced. The quick stow handle is a great feature too. There are other mowers with more bells and whistles, but this mower is a good solid mower and a good value.

The mower works very well. The Sense-A-Speed takes a little getting used to but it is a nice feature if you have a sloping lawn. I was disappointed when I received the mower because the blade break was not installed. A hole was missing from the handle so I had to drill a hole to insert the blade break. This item should not have been shipped, however it was easier for me to drill a hole in the handle than to take it to a dealer to be fixed. So far the mower also appears to be fuel efficient with very little oil smoke emitted when the engine is running

Mover arrived broken. The sensa-speed had been pulled out of its track and a little plastic part was broken. I bet the mower will run awesome once it's fixed but in the meantime I'm left with a new mower and having to jumb through hoops. Called Lawnboy and they said they wouldn't have shipped it that way so it may not be a warantee item. Not impressed with buying lawnboy mowers, didn't seem like they stand behind product unconditionally. Lawnboy cust service recomended we contact Amazon about returning or UPS to file a claim and blame them.

Unlike some reviewers, my Lawnboy arrive in the box by Fedex ready to go. Just had to add oil and gas. Ordered on Saturday and received shortly after noon on the following Tuesday. Use of the mower is as easy as promised. I noticed Amazon dropped the price by $20 since I ordered it which was less that a week ago. Some parts seem cheaply made (such as the height adjustment levers which are plastic rather than metal as in my previous 10-year old Craftsman lawnmower) so only time will tell if this one will last as long as the Craftsman. With all it's adjustment features and ease of use, this is a good lawnmower for women and priced reasonably from Amazon. I wanted a cordless electric lawnmower that is self propelled, but that doesn't appear to be available. Perhaps they will be available by the time I'm ready for my next lawnmower! In the meantime, I highly recommend the Lawnboy 10685.
